About the Department
The City of Blue Ash is accepting applications for the position of Public Works Intern for the Summer of 2027. Applications must be submitted through the City's online system by or before Monday, November 30, 2026, 11:59pm. Please include your resume and a letter of interest.Applicants should be students currently enrolled in a construction management or civil engineering college program. Work duties will include construction observation, documentation, GPS mapping, construction photography, and other construction tasks. Understanding project plans, specifications, and computer aided design is a plus but is not required. This paid internship will consist of 40 hours weekly between the months of May - August, 2027. Flexibility with school schedule will not be a problem.

Minimum Qualifications
- Good social and general intelligence with effective communication skills; ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions; ability to fully utilize basic Microsoft Office programs; complete tasks on time; have efficient time management skills; ability to drive an automobile and have a valid driver's license from their state of residence; be able to carry up to 30 pounds and traverse rough terrain.
