Job Description
ReutersWard Doha is seeking a proactive and well-connected Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage government relations and administrative processes in Doha.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling official documentation, liaising with government authorities, and ensuring full compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all government-related documentation, permits, and approvals
- Liaise with ministries, immigration, labor, and other government entities
- Process visas, work permits, and residency applications for employees
- Ensure compliance with Qatar labor laws and administrative procedures
- Maintain accurate records of official documents and renewals
- Support HR and management with administrative and legal requirements
- Handle company licensing, registrations, and renewals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Proven experience as a PRO or in government relations within Qatar
- Strong knowledge of local laws, regulations, and administrative processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
