Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting in the implementation of basic skills
  • Performing duties as directed by the teacher
  • Duties may include 1:1 instruction and small group instruction
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, stand, and walk

Qualifications

  • MUST be a current West Chester University Education student enrolled in EDA 421 - Multiple Disabilities Support or Life Skills Support or EDA 321 - Autistic Support or Emotional Support
  • High school diploma required
  • Willingness to work with students in preschool special education program required
  • Current police, child abuse & FBI fingerprint clearances
  • Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)

Schedule

  • Flexible to work with candidates' availability

Hourly Rate (2026-2027 School Year)

IA Step 1: $19.38/hr. Locations: Child & Career Development Center- Coatesville, PA - Ages K-22; Emotional Support, Learning Support, Autistic Support, Life Skills Support, Multiple Disabilities CCIU Learning Center- Coatesvile, PA - Ages 14-22; Emotional Support MS
