  • Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management.
  • Deliver outpatient psychotherapy in community settings.
  • Utilize evidence-based and emerging best practices in psychiatric care.
  • Ensure coordination between mental health, substance use, and primary healthcare services.
  • Consult with primary care providers to support comprehensive health needs.
  • Guide and support ACT team members in clinical decision‑making.

  • Collaborative Culture: Work alongside therapists, nurses, peer supports, and behavioral health specialists.

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) with an active, unrestricted NC license.
  • Board Certification in Psychiatry (ASAM certification or eligibility preferred).
  • 5+ years experience treating individuals with mental illness.
  • Expertise in treating serious mental illness, including: Schizophrenia. Schizoaffective Disorder. Bipolar I Disorder with Psychosis.
