About This Role
Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our healthcare team in Qatar.
The Psychiatrist will diagnose, treat, and help prevent mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders through a combination of medical, psychological, and therapeutic approaches.
The ideal candidate should have strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to mental healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for patients.
- Diagnose mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and substance abuse disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
- Collaborate with psychologists, counselors, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric care when required.
- Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical case discussions.
- Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards of psychiatric practice.
& Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Specialization in Psychiatry with board certification or equivalent qualification.
- Valid medical license to practice psychiatry in qatar
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in psychiatry preferred.
- Eligibility for medical licensing in Qatar.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multicultural environment.
