Full Job Posting

  • Fabricate, repair, and maintain prosthetic and orthotic devices according to specifications and medical prescriptions.
  • Assist with the design and selection of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
  • Use specialized tools and equipment, such as lathes, saws, and grinders, to shape and mold materials such as plastics, metals, and carbon fiber.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure that they meet the highest standards of safety and performance.
  • Collaborate with practitioners to ensure that prosthetic and orthotic devices are tailored to the needs of each patient.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all patient-related activities and procedures.
  • Stay current with industry developments, new materials, and manufacturing techniques to improve the quality of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of prosthetics and orthotics.
  • Certification from the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics (ABC) or Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC) is preferred.
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of materials and techniques used in the manufacturing of prosthetic and orthotic devices.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with practitioners and other medical professionals.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and safety.
