Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Proposal and Projects Engineer based in the United Arab Emirates.
The role involves preparing and managing project proposals, coordinating with internal teams and clients on project requirements, and overseeing the execution of water and wastewater treatment projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing technical specifications, developing cost estimates, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with client needs.
Additionally, the role involves managing timelines, documentation, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Prepare technical & commercial proposals for RFQs and tenders.
- Review client specs and recommend suitable water components/solutions.
- Coordinate with suppliers for pricing, datasheets, and submittals.
- Follow up on proposals and support the team in closing orders.
- Manage project orders from confirmation through to delivery & client acceptance.
- Prepare submittal documents, material approvals, and O&M manuals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
- 2–4 years of experience in proposals, tendering, or project coordination.
- Experience in water treatment, fluid systems, or related industry is required
- Strong technical writing, specs knowhow and documentation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
