- Study, review, and recommend policies and procedures that will increase, improve, and maximize tenant occupancy.
- Negotiate and budget leasing terms and conditions.
- Work with tenants to develop retail standards and ensure tenants fulfill their lease obligations.
- Achieve specialty leasing income goals established by Management.
- Assist with developing the Specialty Leasing budget and business plan, and establish objectives as required.
- Develop and execute a lucrative Specialty Leasing program that not only delivers significant revenues to the property’s bottom line but also increases the guest experience.
- Research and report to Management on competitive Leasing and Specialty leasing trends in the industry and within the geographical and catchment areas of the mall.
- Source and seek out prospective tenants.
- Generate new leasing leads and negotiate qualified deals from inception to final execution.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective, existing, and short-term tenants.
- Review leasing activities with the Executive Director against revenue goals.
- Prepares reports, analyses data, and makes recommendations for improving operations.
- Maintains safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
**Qualifications & Experience:*** Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5–7+ years of relevant property leasing experience in the UAE
- Proven experience handling commercial, retail, and/or residential leasing
- Strong understanding of UAE real estate laws and leasing procedures
- Practical experience dealing with Wasl, DLD, DDA, Ejari, and related authorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Skills Required
- **Core Skills:*** Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Sound knowledge of the UAE real estate market dynamics
- Ability to structure and evaluate lease terms and commercial proposals
- **Professional & Technical Skills:*** Lease documentation and contract management
- Regulatory compliance and authority coordination
- Financial analysis of rental income, yields, and leasing KPIs
- **Leadership & Behavioral Skills:*** Ability to work independently and manage multiple properties
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
**Preferred / Advantageous:*** RERA certification
- Experience managing large or mixed-use property portfolios
