As our operations and asset portfolio continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced and strategic **Property Director** to oversee the management, performance, and development of our real estate, facilities, depots, terminals, and operational properties.
Position Overview
The Property Director will be responsible for the strategic management of company-owned and leased properties, operational facilities, transportation hubs, maintenance centers, and administrative locations.
This leadership role will focus on maximizing asset value, ensuring operational efficiency, managing capital projects, and supporting long-term business growth through effective property and facilities management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement property management strategies that align with organizational goals and operational requirements
- Oversee the daily management of transportation depots, logistics facilities, maintenance centers, office buildings, and operational properties
- Manage property budgets, operating expenses, capital expenditures, and financial performance targets
- Lead leasing activities, property acquisitions, contract negotiations, and tenant management where applicable
- Oversee facility maintenance, building operations, infrastructure improvements, and preventive maintenance programs
- Plan and manage capital improvement projects, renovations, expansions, and facility upgrades
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Develop asset management plans to maximize operational efficiency and long-term property value
- Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, vendors, service providers, and regulatory agencies
- Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for property optimization, expansion, or redevelopment
- Prepare financial, operational, and strategic reports for executive leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and lead property management, facilities, and maintenance teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Property Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in property management, facilities operations, asset management, or real estate leadership
- Proven experience managing commercial, industrial, logistics, transportation, or infrastructure-related properties
- Strong financial management, budgeting, and asset performance analysis skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong understanding of property regulations, facilities management, and operational infrastructure
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications in Property Management, Facilities Management, Real Estate, or Engineering
- Experience within transportation, logistics, warehousing, infrastructure, industrial services, or fleet operations
- Knowledge of asset lifecycle management and property investment strategies
- Experience overseeing large-scale facility upgrades, infrastructure projects, and operational expansions
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), property management software, and smart facility technologies
