Projects Manager (MEP)

Position overview

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, installation, and testing of energy-efficiency, solar, MEP, BMS, HVAC, and lighting systems.
• Coordinate subcontractors, maintain project schedules, and resolve technical issues.
• Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and other technical documents.
• Coordinate stakeholders, lead meetings, report progress, and identify risks and challenges.
• Address client concerns and provide technical expertise.
• Supervise testing and commissioning and ensure optimal system performance.
• Prepare handover documents, including as-builts, operation manuals, and warranties.
• Align designs with bidding budgets and manage manpower and resources.
• Enforce HSE, contractual, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Report project status and follow up on pending issues with engineering teams, clients, and consultants.
• Drive efficiency and cost-management improvements and support team training and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in solar, retrofit projects, HVAC, lighting retrofits, solar lights, and BMS.
• Strong technical background; excellent written and verbal communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple stakeholders.
• PMP certification and Certified SEC Installer are preferred.

Preferred skills

• Good English writing for proposals and correspondence is preferred.
• Technical, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, organization, and time-management skills are preferred.
• Microsoft Office skills, including Project, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, are required.
• Renewable-field background is a plus.
