Role overview
Identify, assess, and manage risks associated with construction projects.
Support project completion within budget, schedule, and quality parameters while meeting safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Risk management duties
- Assess risks related to project scope, schedule, cost, safety, quality, and environmental impact.
- Develop mitigation plans and strategies with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and coordinate with regulatory bodies as required.
- Prepare risk reports, registers, matrices, and mitigation plans for senior management and project stakeholders.
- Lead crisis and emergency response efforts and implement emergency response plans for construction sites.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 15 years of construction-industry risk management experience and a solid understanding of construction processes and project management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools and software applications.
