Role overview
Manages commercial and contractual aspects of civil and marine projects, including cost planning, budgeting, measurement, variation control, payments, and final accounts.
The role aims to keep projects within approved budgets and contractual requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and budgets for civil and marine works.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Prepare and submit interim payment applications and final accounts.
- Measure and value works executed on site.
- Manage variations, claims, and change orders.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and prepare comparative statements.
- Assist with contract administration and client or consultant correspondence.
- Monitor costs; prepare cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and planning teams.
- Ensure compliance with contract conditions, company procedures, and UAE regulations.
Skills and competencies
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Compensation
- Pay range is AED 3,500 to AED 6,000 per month.
