Project Quality Specialist

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Communicate escalations to the manager where appropriate.
• Foster an inspiring team environment with open communication.
• Continuously optimise team processes to improve performance.
• Prepare project test plans covering objectives, schedules, deliverables, and test environment setup.
• Create comprehensive test scenarios and cases with test and project teams.
• Review test cases, scripts, and data for quality and adherence to test strategy.
• Consolidate findings and prepare reports on defects, severity, and application quality.
• Track defects in a tracking system and liaise with developers to resolve them.
• Assess testing effectiveness and implement improvements to quality and efficiency.
• Adhere to general security responsibilities in the company security policy.

Experience and skills

• At least 1 year of test management or similar experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with data to ensure quality testing.
• Experience with project processes and procedures.
• Experience analysing and compiling data for reporting.
• Good technical knowledge or background.
