Candidzone is seeking an experienced Project Planner for a building project in Qatar.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
- GCC experience with consultancy firms is required.
- Experience in hospitality and similar building projects is highly desirable.
- A valid Qatar ID (QID) is mandatory.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in line with project requirements.
- Monitor project progress and compare actual performance against planned timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and site teams.
- Identify potential delays, scheduling conflicts, and critical activities.
- Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and planning updates.
- Analyze project delays and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
- Track project milestones and ensure timely completion of key activities.
- Review project schedules, work programs, and progress submissions.
- Maintain accurate planning records and provide regular updates to management.
Skills and software
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling, progress reporting, and planning procedures.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
