The role
The Project Manager leads customer implementations across student and commercial projects within Professional Services.
The role owns governance, financial performance, risk management and stakeholder engagement through the project lifecycle.
The position manages multiple concurrent projects and contributes to PMO delivery practices and continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing
- Lead end-to-end customer implementation delivery across student and commercial projects.
- Assess, agree, document and deliver change requests and their impacts on scope, schedule and cost.
- Own scope, timelines, budgets and commercial performance.
- Manage timelines in Monday.com, delivery backlogs in Jira and project administration in Salesforce, including budget tracking and billing.
- Use AI tools to optimise workflows and project administration.
- Facilitate governance using RAID and change logs, status reports and stakeholder meetings.
- Manage customer expectations and mitigate risks, dependencies and change requests.
- Monitor revenue, margins and billable utilisation.
- Coordinate with Professional Services, Cloud Operations, Technical Services, Product and Support.
- Provide pre-sales delivery input and effort estimates when needed.
- Balance priorities across the wider PMO resource pool and contribute to delivery frameworks, tools, reporting standards and best practice.
Essential experience
- Recognised project management qualification, such as PRINCE2, APM PMQ or PMP.
- Demonstrated experience delivering software implementation projects.
- Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced setting while staying organised under pressure.
- Proactive approach and comfort with shifting priorities.
- Commercial awareness covering budgets, margins, billing and change control.
- Confidence using Monday.com, Jira and Salesforce.
- Interest in AI workflow automation and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management with clients and internal teams.
Nice to have
- Agile project management qualification such as PRINCE2 Agile, AgilePM or PMI-ACP.
- SaaS experience is strongly preferred; ability to understand complex applications quickly is also noted.
