Position

Project Manager in Flynn Canada Ltd's waterproofing division, based in Ottawa, Ontario.

The posting is for an existing vacancy.

A day in the life

  • Forecast, plan, and analyze projects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Prepare comprehensive project material lists.
  • Prepare takeoffs and estimates for change orders.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors and foremen on issuing and tracking deliveries and purchase orders.

What Flynn is seeking

  • 3–5 years of general project management or construction knowledge.
  • Excellent communication, dependability, follow-through, organizational skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge and ability to read drawings.
  • Bilingual English/French is an added benefit because work occurs on both sides of the Ontario–Quebec border.
  • Below-grade waterproofing, traffic coating, or spray-product experience is an added benefit.
