Project Manager, Robotics Venture

Overview

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end site readiness activities required to launch robot deployments
• Maintain live trackers for each site covering approvals, readiness status, blockers, owners, and target dates
• Follow up with clients, property management, facilities teams, building owners, vendors, and internal teams to close deployment dependencies
• Track site inspections, mapping readiness, elevator compatibility, internet and power readiness, dock location readiness, and infrastructure change requirements.
• Ensure required approvals, permits, access permissions, and internal sign-offs are requested, tracked, and closed on time
• Coordinate quotations and execution follow-up for site changes such as door automation, internet extension, power works, elevator IoT installation, and related modifications
• Work with procurement and internal teams to confirm availability of robots, elevator IoT boxes, docks, chargers, and deployment materials before go-live
• Support planning and scheduling of site visits, installation activities, testing, and deployment milestones
• Escalate blockers early and drive timely resolution across stakeholders
• Prepare clear readiness updates for management, including what is ready, pending, blocked, and at risk
• Maintain organized deployment documentation, status records, and action logs across all active sites
• Help standardize deployment checklists, templates, communication flows, and readiness processes as deployments scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in PMO, project coordination, deployment coordination, site operations, or a similar cross-functional role
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across internal teams, clients, vendors, facilities management, and external partners
• Ability to manage detailed trackers, action logs, timelines, and readiness plans
• Experience handling approvals, permits, access requests, quotations, and vendor follow-up in operational or site-based environments
• Ability to coordinate practical deployment dependencies such as equipment readiness, site modifications, scheduling, and document control
• Good understanding of field deployment workflows and site readiness requirements
• Prior exposure to robotics, automation, IoT, smart building systems, or technical field operations is strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills, ownership, and attention to detail
• Comfortable using Excel, presentation tools, and project tracking systems
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal – Arabic is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and push stakeholders to close actions on time
• Basic understanding of robot deployment constraints such as power, connectivity, charging setup, elevator integration, and access readiness is an advantage

Preferred Skills

• Experience or coursework related to robotics, automation, IoT, facilities, or deployment operations
• Relevant certifications in project coordination, PMO, operations, procurement, or safety are a plus
