Project Manager / Product Development

Position context

Role responsibilities

• Lead and support local and cross-functional project teams, including associated R&D project managers; motivate and supervise internal or external resources.
• Plan, coordinate, execute, and deliver projects end to end.
• Keep project teams focused on customer value, customer satisfaction, and stakeholder expectations.
• Prioritize, estimate, and plan work; monitor progress against plans, commitments, and milestones.
• Resolve issues, conflicts, and obstacles at the appropriate level, escalating when necessary.
• Maintain transparency about change requests, unforeseen events, and risks.
• Apply suitable predictive, iterative, Agile, or hybrid delivery practices and comply with ABB guidelines and applicable external standards.

What you’ll need

• At least 5 years of product development or project management experience, preferably in a technical field.
• French and English proficiency required; English is needed for regular communication with customers outside Quebec.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in leading projects and teams, with strong leadership, motivation, and collaboration skills.
