Job Title: Project Manager – MEP Systems - Medium temperature hot water system
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project Manager
to lead the execution of a major industrial project comprising
Medium Temperature Hot Water (MTHW), Compressed Air, and Fuel Oil Systems
.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the
end-to-end management
of all three packages, including engineering coordination, procurement, construction, testing & commissioning, and client management, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
Project Leadership
- **Manage overall project execution across all three packages.**
- Develop and monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Ensure alignment with contract scope, specifications, and client expectations.
Technical & Engineering Coordination
- **Oversee design reviews, shop drawings, and material submittals.**
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and project specifications.
Procurement & Commercial Control
- **Manage procurement plans for major equipment and materials.**
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate technical/commercial terms.
- Monitor project budget, cash flow, and cost control.
Construction Management
- **Supervise site execution activities and ensure adherence to schedule.**
- Coordinate with site teams for installation of mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards.
Testing & Commissioning (T&C)
- **Plan and oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.**
- Ensure systems performance meets design and operational requirements.
Stakeholder Management
- **Act as the main point of contact with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.**
- Lead progress meetings and prepare regular project reports.
- Manage contractual correspondence and variations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
- Minimum
- 10–15 years of experience
- in project management within MEP/industrial projects.
- Proven experience in
- district heating systems (MTHW), compressed air systems, and fuel handling systems
- is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Mechanical systems design and installation
- Industrial utilities and piping systems
- Testing & commissioning procedures
- Experience working in
Saudi Arabia or GCC
is preferred.
