Role overview
Project Manager for civil or architectural building projects in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities
- Deliver building projects from mobilization through handover across structure, finishes, and MEP.
- Set and control project budgets, cash flow, procurement plans, and baseline schedules.
- Submit monthly invoices, obtain consultant certification, and follow up with clients until payment is received.
- Secure approval and billing for variation orders and claims; recover retention and advance-payment guarantees at closeout.
- Lead weekly client and consultant progress meetings and issue monthly reports.
- Manage the deputy PM, engineers, technical office, QS, planner, and QA/QC team.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors and manage contract scope.
- Ensure compliance with SBC, specifications, and HSE requirements; manage testing, commissioning, and handover.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- 10–15 years of experience, including at least five years as a PM on building projects.
- PMP certification and SCE registration.
- Strong contract knowledge, including FIDIC and lump-sum/BOQ contracts, and experience with claims and variations.
- Knowledge of the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
- MS Office and engineering software knowledge; ability to review Primavera P6 or MS Project schedules.
- Fluent Arabic and English; valid driving license.
Preferred experience
- Most of the candidate’s experience is preferred to be in KSA.
- Experience with educational, hospitality, or government buildings is preferred.
