Manage and coordinate company projects through design, permitting, and construction.
Lead the regional site project management function, including staff and third-party project representatives.
Project delivery
- Deliver projects within budgets and schedules while meeting client needs, business objectives, and design guidelines.
- Manage a regional program of projects and project managers to coordinate efforts and ensure successful completion.
- Develop programs and annual budgets.
- Prepare construction cost estimates and funding documentation, and obtain management approval signatures.
- Monitor project progress, financial control, and quality.
- Ensure project managers manage teams, schedules, budgets, estimates, and documentation.
- Manage special studies, initiatives, and due diligence assignments.
- Oversee or participate in prequalification and bid evaluation for consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Work with government and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
- Make presentations to senior management.
Experience
- 7–10 years managing large projects directly.
- Experience with site analysis, permitting and approvals, budget control, estimating, design and construction coordination, and project scheduling.
- Ground-up new construction experience is preferred.
