Role overview
This new position owns a portfolio of live projects, leads Project Engineers and site teams, and serves as the main client contact.
The first 90 days will include taking ownership of at least three live projects.
The role offers scope to shape delivery processes as the projects team grows.
What you will do
- Deliver projects from handover through close-out to time, budget, and specification.
- Manage programmes, project finances, client updates, teams, subcontractors, resources, and procurement coordination.
- Lead project health and safety, risk and change management, technical quality, testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.
- Contribute to monthly forecasts and pipeline reporting.
What you will bring
- Proven delivery experience on M&E, electrical, or security systems projects in live infrastructure such as rail, tunnels, or highways.
- APM PMQ/PFQ or PRINCE2 Foundation project management qualification.
- SMSTS and a CSCS or ECS Manager card.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Sentinel PTS or LUL competencies are a bonus; training may be funded if absent.
- Confidence managing budgets and programmes, leading site teams and subcontractors, and communicating proactively with clients.
Compensation and benefits
- Salary is £55,000–£62,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Benefits include a car allowance, company pension, funded training, laptop, and PPE.
- The role includes casual dress, on-site parking, a referral programme, and a structured 30-, 60-, and 90-day onboarding plan.
