About the Role
Tashkeel, together with Tasmeem Tashkeel, operates across art, design, and production, delivering projects that range from bespoke furniture and product design to interior environments, public art, and consultancy-led commissions. Each project moves through a structured journey from concept to realization, requiring precision, coordination, and accountability.
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing this journey across all active projects. This role ensures that timelines are met, teams are aligned, and deliverables are executed to the expected standard. It sits at the center of operations, connecting design, production, and client communication into one clear and structured process.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Delivery
- Lead end-to-end project management across furniture, product, interior, and spatial design projects
- Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and milestones in alignment with internal teams and client expectations
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with Tashkeel’s standards
Team Coordination and Workflow Management
- Act as the central point of coordination between Tasmeem designers, production teams, external vendors, and consultants
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring clear prioritization and resource allocation
- Monitor progress across all active projects and address delays or challenges proactively
Client and Brief Management
- Attend all client and internal design meetings
- Record and document discussions, requirements, and feedback with clarity
- Translate client needs into structured briefs and actionable documents for internal teams
- Ensure alignment between client expectations and project execution at every stage
Production and Technical Oversight
- Work closely with fabricators, manufacturers, and suppliers within the UAE
- Oversee prototyping, material selection, and production timelines
- Ensure all technical drawings, specifications, and approvals are in place prior to production
Process and Documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records within internal systems, including ZOHO
- Ensure all RFIs, approvals, and changes are formally documented and communicated
- Support the development and enforcement of structured workflows across projects
Quality Control and Final Delivery
- Monitor outputs to ensure they meet design intent, functional requirements, and quality standards
- Coordinate installations, site execution, and final handovers where required
- Conduct internal reviews to improve processes and delivery efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in project management within design, architecture, interiors, or product development
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-disciplinary projects from concept to completion
- Strong understanding of production processes, materials, and fabrication workflows
- Experience working with UAE-based manufacturers and suppliers is preferred
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and documentation skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage clients, teams, and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple timelines and maintain consistency under pressure
Preferred Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- A Master’s degree in Project Management or a relevant discipline is highly preferred
- Strong administrative and operational background with experience managing systems, workflows, and documentation
- Experience aligning multidisciplinary teams under a unified project structure
- Background in design is not required; emphasis is placed on project management expertise and execution
- Familiarity with structured project management systems and tools is essential
