Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven background in Commercial Kitchen & Catering Equipment Projects to lead projects from award through final handover.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordination, technical review, procurement follow-up, project execution, and client satisfaction while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage commercial kitchen projects from project award to final handover.
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Prepare and review BOQs (Bill of Quantities).
- Coordinate Kitchen Layouts and Shop Drawings with the design team.
- Prepare and submit Technical & Material Submittals.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
- Monitor procurement, manufacturing, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Develop and monitor project schedules and project progress.
- Manage project budgets, costs, and Variation Orders.
- Prepare regular project progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Commercial Kitchen & Catering Equipment Projects.
- Proven experience in BOQ preparation and review.
- Strong knowledge of Technical Submittals, Shop Drawings, Procurement Coordination, and Project Planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
- Excellent command of English.
