Project Manager (Civil Engineer Consultancy)

Role overview

Mandatory qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; at least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years in the UAE.
• At least 5 years of UAE project management, including complete projects and teams or departments in an engineering consultancy or contractor’s office.
• Dubai Municipality G+4 or higher structural approval; readiness for company registration and DEQ listing; immediate availability.
• Strong structural engineering knowledge, FIDIC, contract drafting and administration, dispute management, negotiation, and BIM multidisciplinary coordination.

Software and technical skills

• ETABS and SAFE for structural analysis and design review; AutoCAD for drawing review; Revit and BIM tools for model review and coordination.
• Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 for planning and monitoring; Microsoft Excel or another tool for budgets, reporting, KPIs, tender comparisons, and cost tracking.

Responsibilities

• Manage project delivery, plans, budgets, milestones, resources, scope changes, team assignments, and corrective actions.
• Review structural checks and drawings; coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP teams; visit sites and manage site engineers.
• Oversee authority approvals, tenders, bid evaluation, recommendations, and BOQ review.
• Administer contracts, variations, claims, notices, risks, and disputes; monitor KPIs and report project performance to management.

Preferred qualifications and experience

• Dubai Municipality G+12 structural approval is preferred.
• Hands-on Dubai Building Permit System submissions, DDA submissions and approvals, and experience managing complex claims and contractual disputes are preferred.

Compensation and employment

• Full-time position paying AED 12,000 per month.
