Project management and technical delivery
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor daily construction activities and project phases.
- Coordinate site engineers, construction managers, consultants, subcontractors, clients, and project resources.
- Oversee structural, concrete, reinforcement, formwork, finishing, and associated construction work.
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings; identify discrepancies and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure compliance with UAE building codes, municipality requirements, and engineering standards.
Documentation, planning, and cost control
- Manage project documentation, including shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, RFIs, inspection requests, progress reports, and technical correspondence.
- Maintain records of site instructions, variations, approvals, and project communications; coordinate as-built drawings and handover records.
- Manage contractual correspondence, delay notifications, extension-of-time submissions, and claims documentation.
- Develop and monitor schedules, milestones, execution plans, budgets, material consumption, manpower productivity, and construction costs.
- Coordinate with planning engineers and quantity surveyors; review BOQs, quotations, payment applications, and variation claims.
Coordination, quality, and safety
- Act as primary contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and stakeholders; attend progress meetings, technical meetings, and site inspections.
- Manage subcontractor performance, work quality, productivity, and contractual obligations; resolve site-related issues.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to maintain project quality and safety requirements.
- Monitor site inspections, material approvals, construction quality, and compliance with health, safety, environmental, and municipality regulations.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- At least 5 years of relevant UAE experience in building construction and contracting is mandatory.
- Experience as a Civil Project Manager or in a comparable senior project management position.
- Strong experience in residential, commercial, multistorey, or other building construction projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering, project execution, documentation, planning, budgeting, subcontractor management, and UAE construction regulations.
