Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality plans and advice to the Head of Section on issues, communications risks and opportunities.
- Develop plans and strategies to support the reputation of the United Arab Emirates internationally and effectively communicate key messages to international audiences.
- Manage relations with senior international journalists and editors in the United Arab Emirates and abroad.
- Lead on strategic projects which impact the United Arab Emirates reputation from strategy development to implementation.
- Liaise, coordinate and maintain relations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop briefings for senior officials ahead of media engagements.
Requirements
- :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Relations, Media, Economics, or a related field.
- 7–10+ years of experience in strategic communications, preferably within international institutions, government entities, or agencies serving government clients.
- Proven experience in advising senior officials, leaders, or executives.
- Experience in engaging with international media.
- Strong understanding of the MENA region and United Arab Emirates policies.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Exceptional English writing skills are essential.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage extended working hours when required.
