Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Abu Dhabi.
The Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and completion of EPC construction, maintenance, and related oil and gas, power, water, and civil projects.
Daily responsibilities include developing project plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets; coordinating with engineering, procurement, construction, and HSE teams; and managing subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
The role involves monitoring progress, identifying and mitigating risks, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
The Project Manager also leads project meetings, prepares progress reports, supports quality assurance and safety initiatives, and maintains strong, professional communication with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven project management experience in EPC, oil and gas, power, water, or industrial construction, with strong skills in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams (engineering, procurement, construction, HSE, QA/QC) and manage subcontractors and vendors effectively.
- Strong stakeholder management, client-facing communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver clear project reports and presentations.
- Solid understanding of HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements relevant to onshore and offshore projects, with a commitment to safe work practices.
- Proficiency in project management and productivity tools (e.g., MS Project or equivalent scheduling software, MS Office, reporting tools); familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field; recognized project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work on-site in an industrial environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, project-driven setting.
- Relevant experience in the Abu Dhabi or broader GCC market, including knowledge of local regulations and standards, is highly beneficial.
