Role overview

Project delivery

• Define project and proposal requirements with Division Directors and initiate proposals and projects when instructed.
• Deliver projects to agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality and benefits objectives; develop execution plans, budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate project controls and engineering/design resources with the relevant leads and forecast resourcing needs.
• Determine the need for a Study Manager or Project Engineer, assign resources as appropriate and oversee early-phase studies.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, chair key project meetings and maintain governance and escalation routes.
• Track project risks, changes, issues and lessons learned, ensuring legal, contractual and company governance compliance.

Reporting and business development

• Complete weekly forecasts and performance reports, reporting status, risks and outlook to Division Directors and senior management.
• Oversee progress reporting and performance tracking, including schedule, cost, resources and benefits realisation.
• Support business development with project management input to proposals, client presentations and pursuit activities.

Skills, knowledge and experience

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline.
• Proven project management experience in an engineering consultancy or energy-sector environment.
• Knowledge of project lifecycles from feasibility to close-out and estimating and scheduling frameworks.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage interfaces with vendors, fabricators and clients.
• Experience with project controls, engineering functions and procurement processes.
• Skills in risk management, stakeholder engagement and benefits delivery; excellent communication and leadership skills.
