Responsibilities
- Oversee projects from initiation, requirements gathering, gap analysis, and feasibility through planning, execution, implementation, and post-delivery support.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resources with stakeholders.
- Gather and document business needs as functional specifications, BRDs, FRDs, and user stories; coordinate with technical teams on solutions.
- Analyze workflows and implement process improvements, automation, optimization, and reengineering initiatives.
- Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies and prioritize backlogs using business value, urgency, and technical feasibility, including RICE, MoSCoW, and Kano frameworks.
- Coordinate technical teams, stakeholders, integrations, and dependencies to support delivery.
- Use SQL and Excel for data analysis; create dashboards and project performance reports.
- Create wireframes, mockups, workflow diagrams, process maps, and other visual documentation.
- Use JIRA or other tools to track tasks, progress, backlogs, deliverables, and reports; coordinate UAT and resolve functional gaps.
- Monitor and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies, and changes; maintain project documentation and deliver within agreed scope, timelines, budget, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of relevant Project Manager and/or Business Analyst experience in a technology-driven environment.
- Experience managing end-to-end technology projects from requirements gathering through delivery.
- Strong practical knowledge of Agile and Scrum.
- Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel for analysis, reporting, and data validation.
- Working knowledge of APIs, databases, system architecture, and application integrations.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools; experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, user stories, and process documentation.
- Familiarity with wireframing, workflow mapping, and process modelling tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, project management, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
- EdTech experience, particularly with LMS, digital learning, student management, or education technology solutions, is highly preferred.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or relevant Business Analysis certifications are an advantage.
Preferred experience and certifications
- Prior EdTech industry experience is highly preferred, especially exposure to Learning Management Systems, digital learning platforms, student management systems, or education technology solutions.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master, or relevant Business Analysis certifications are an added advantage.
