Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred; equivalent technical or project experience may be considered.
  • 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, construction coordination, manufacturing engineering, equipment installation, or a related field, preferably within industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing plant construction, factory expansions, equipment installation, commissioning, or other industrial projects is strongly preferred; solar/PV manufacturing experience is a significant advantage.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, track schedules and action items, identify project risks, and proactively escalate issues to the Project Manager.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with engineers, contractors, equipment suppliers, management, executives, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working with international equipment suppliers, particularly Chinese manufacturers, and coordinating between U.S.-based contractors, engineering teams, and overseas suppliers is highly desirable. Strong English communication skills are required; Mandarin Chinese proficiency is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively in both office and active construction/manufacturing environments. Must be comfortable walking the project site and understanding the progression from building readiness and utilities through equipment delivery, installation, commissioning, and production ramp-up..
  • Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, filing, and operating office equipment
  • Occasional standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to lift and carry light office materials (up to 10–15 lbs), such as files or office supplies
  • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports
  • Ability to attend meetings and interact with employees, clients, and vendors
