Role overview
Support business origination, financial advisory mandates, and project and structured finance transactions.
Work with the Power and Energy Transition and PFI and Infrastructure teams in London and other Mizuho regional teams as required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with new business opportunities and relationship origination.
- Support financial advisory mandates and suitable transaction origination.
- Help execute mandates while maximizing sponsor returns and meeting timelines.
- Support transaction structuring to mitigate risks appropriately.
- Cross-market and cross-sell products where possible.
- Contribute to professional client relationship management.
- Prepare financial models and pitchbooks where relevant.
- Provide general team support and collaborate with Mizuho regional teams.
- Perform other duties requested by the Managing Director or Team Head.
