Our U.S. arm,
NCCC Industrial Coatings LLC (a Supertrades LLC Company)
, delivers spray-applied fireproofing, industrial coatings, abrasive blasting, and Division 7 solutions to the commercial, industrial, and energy sectors across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast United States — in full compliance with U.S. fire safety codes including ASTM, UL, and IBC standards.
Our Middle East operations, headquartered in Abu Dhabi, serve industrial and energy clients across the UAE.
This role sits at the center of that international platform.
Role Description
This is a full-time role based in the UAE for a Project Estimator whose work will
directly drive bids, budgets, and project wins in the United States and UAE markets
.
The U.S. business is our fastest-growing operation, and the majority of your tender volume will come from American projects — commercial high-rises, industrial facilities, refineries, and data centers — alongside UAE industrial tenders.

The UAE time zone gives you a structural advantage here — your afternoon and evening overlap with the U.S.
East Coast workday, putting you in live coordination with our American project teams daily.
You will study BOQs, drawings, plans, and specifications to produce accurate and competitive cost estimates across both markets — covering U.S.
Division 7 scopes (SFRM and intumescent fireproofing, insulation, firestopping, air barriers, industrial blasting and coatings) and UAE industrial scopes (refractories, fireproofing, insulation, AR linings, tank and pipe linings).
You will work directly with group leadership and have a clear runway into senior estimating and project management responsibility as the group scales.
U.S. Estimating (Primary Focus)
- Develop detailed cost estimates for Division 7 scopes: spray-applied fireproofing (SFRM), intumescent coatings (IFRM), insulation, firestopping, and air barriers, plus industrial blasting and coating scopes (tanks, pipe spools, structural steel)
- Review U.S. drawings, specifications, bid documents, and addenda from general contractors; identify scope gaps, risks, and qualification items
- Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and access using digital takeoff tools
- Prepare complete U.S. bid packages: scope letters, assumptions, exclusions, alternates, and pricing schedules
- Price change orders and support cost control on active U.S. projects
- Coordinate daily with U.S.-based operations and leadership during overlapping working hours
UAE & Group Estimating
- Prepare cost estimates for refractory, fireproofing, insulation, AR lining, and coating works for UAE industrial and energy clients
- Analyze BOQs, IFC drawings, ITTs, and technical specifications from EPC contractors and end users
- Support tender clarification meetings, site visits, and pre-bid walkdowns in the UAE
- Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations across both markets
- Maintain estimating databases, historical cost data, productivity benchmarks, and market pricing for the group
- Ensure compliance with client specifications and applicable standards — U.S. codes (ASTM, UL, IBC) and UAE/GCC requirements (including ADNOC where applicable)
& Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (preferred)
- 7–10+ years of estimation experience in industrial or heavy construction projects — candidates with exceptional analytical ability and less experience will be considered
- Strong hands-on experience with fireproofing, coatings, insulation, refractories, and/or AR linings
- Familiarity with U.S. CSI MasterFormat and American bid documents is a major advantage — or demonstrated ability to learn it fast
- Experience on oil & gas, power, petrochemical, or industrial plant projects; UAE/GCC and ADNOC/EPC tendering experience a strong advantage
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient in MS Excel and estimating/takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, Candy, Primavera, or similar)
- Excellent written and spoken English — you will communicate with U.S. general contractors and stakeholders daily
- Willingness to structure your working day around U.S. Eastern Time overlap for bid deadlines and coordination calls
- Currently based in the UAE with a transferable visa or own sponsorship; UAE driving license a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines with relentless attention to detail
