Preparation, review, and approval of transmission line tower & foundation designs including associated documents and accessories. Coordination with client and consultant related to engineering activities where required.

Responsibilities
- Roles and Responsibilities
- Preparation of engineering documents related to transmission tower and foundation design.
- Design as per relevant codes and standards.
- Optimize overall weight of tower and foundation with respect to tender quantity.
- Perform Sag tension calculation. Provide approximate weight of tower at tender stage.
- Safe and optimized designing of tower.
- Timely completion of designing of transmission line towers and foundations.
- Support client for engineering activities.
- Design of transmission tower, with use of PLS Tower software of transmission line design.
- Submission of transmission tower design within time limit.
- Approval of designs without major comments.
- Successful type testing of towers.
- Provide support to team for any engineering work.
- Provide guidance to team and coaching to the team to achieve the operational and financial metrics within their areas of responsibility and succeed in their roles.
- Ensure training and continuous learning of team.
- Handling interpersonal conflicts promotes collaboration and respect among the team.
- Smooth communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications
- Educational Qualification:
- B. Tech / BE – Civil
- Experiences:
- 7-15 years of work experience in design of transmission tower and foundation.
- Knowledge of standards and codes relevant to transmission line engineering.
- Knowledge of PLS Tower software.
- Knowledge of STAAD will be preferrable
