Role description
The posting seeks candidates for Project Engineer and Senior Engineer positions in engineering project coordination, technical planning, design evaluation, resource management and solution delivery.
The two positions describe different scopes: project execution and coordination for Project Engineers, and complex technical activities and guidance for Senior Engineers.
Project Engineer responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, execute and monitor projects to meet technical requirements and objectives.
- Review specifications, coordinate schedules, monitor progress and support implementation of technical solutions.
- Work with project managers, design teams, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders to address technical challenges.
- Prepare documentation, review drawings, track materials and costs, conduct quality checks and identify project risks.
- Resolve technical issues, coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with engineering, safety and quality requirements.
Senior Engineer responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance, evaluate design solutions and support effective engineering practices.
- Review technical proposals, perform engineering assessments, solve complex technical problems and recommend improvements.
- Establish technical requirements with multidisciplinary teams and ensure deliverables meet specifications.
- Review calculations and reports, coordinate design reviews, assess risks and support resource planning.
- Contribute to technical decisions, knowledge sharing, quality assurance and improvements to efficiency and system reliability.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, technical specifications, project coordination and problem-solving.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical reports, calculations and project documentation.
- Familiarity with project planning, schedule monitoring, resource coordination, quality assurance, risk assessment, safety and technical compliance.
- CAD software, project management tools or engineering analysis applications are advantageous; Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
- Analytical, organized and detail-oriented, with decision-making, communication and collaboration skills; committed to quality, safety, integrity and continuous improvement.
