Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Project Engineer – Interior Fit-Out
to support the planning, execution, and completion of interior fit-out projects.
The role involves coordinating site activities, ensuring drawings and specifications are followed, managing subcontractors, and maintaining quality, safety, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in planning and executing interior fit-out works
- Coordinate day-to-day site activities including carpentry, gypsum, MEP, finishes, and joinery
- Review drawings, BOQs, and material submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements
- Prepare site reports, work schedules, and progress updates
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements
- Monitor quality, safety, and site housekeeping standards
- Support inspection requests and handover documentation
- Track material deliveries and site resources
- Identify and resolve technical or site-related issues promptly
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in
- interior fit-out projects
- (UAE/GCC experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, and construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and shop drawings
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
