Role Description
The Project Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
This role is responsible for managing acoustical and noise control projects from concept through completion, including reviewing designs, preparing technical documentation, and supporting site execution.
Daily tasks include coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors; developing project schedules and resource plans; monitoring site progress; and ensuring work complies with specifications, standards, and safety requirements.
The Project Engineer will oversee installation of acoustical systems (such as ceilings, home theaters, gym flooring, and underlays), conduct site inspections, and support testing and commissioning activities.
The role also involves preparing reports, tracking project costs, assisting with procurement, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve technical issues and maintain high quality across all deliverables.
Qualifications
- Strong Project Engineering and Project Management skills, with experience delivering construction or fit-out projects end-to-end.
- Proficiency in Project Planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking using relevant tools and software.
- Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in acoustical works, interior fit-out, or noise and vibration control is an advantage.
- Familiarity with construction site practices, health and safety standards, and local regulations in the UAE is preferred.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
