Project Engineer

This is a full-time, on-site Project Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi / Dubai, UAE.

The Project Engineer will oversee interior design, fit-out, and renovation projects from initial site visit to final handover.

The role includes visiting project locations, assessing site conditions, reviewing design requirements, preparing full project proposals, supervising design implementation, managing timelines, coordinating execution teams, and ensuring high-quality project delivery.

The candidate will work closely with clients, designers, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth communication, proper planning, and successful completion of projects within the agreed scope, budget, and timeline.

Visit project sites to inspect conditions, take measurements, assess requirements, and identify technical challenges.

Prepare full project proposals, including scope of work, technical details, pricing/estimation input, project timeline, execution plan, and supervision requirements.

Review design drawings, layouts, finishes, materials, and technical specifications to ensure feasibility and alignment with site conditions.

Supervise on-site design implementation to ensure execution matches approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Plan, monitor, and manage project timelines to ensure timely delivery.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, designers, contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal execution teams.

Oversee fit-out, renovation, joinery, MEP, electrical, civil, finishing, and installation works.

Monitor site progress, workforce, material delivery, and daily activities.

Ensure compliance with approved drawings, safety standards, UAE regulations, and local construction practices.

Identify site issues, technical risks, and execution challenges, and provide practical solutions.

Prepare progress reports, site notes, variation updates, and handover documentation.

Support pricing, estimation, and BOQ preparation for residential and commercial projects.

Ensure high-quality finishing standards suitable for luxury villas, residences, offices, retail, and hospitality interiors.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.

in project engineering or project management within interior design, fit-out, renovation, or construction.

Ability to manage projects from site visit and proposal preparation to supervision and final handover.

Previous experience in pricing, estimation, and proposal preparation for residential and commercial projects.

Background in Electrical Engineering is preferred, with knowledge of MEP coordination and electrical systems.

Strong project planning, scheduling, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and understand architectural, interior design, MEP, electrical, and joinery drawings.

Excellent communication skills with clients, consultants, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.

Attention to detail and commitment to luxury finishing standards.

Previous experience in luxury villas, residential, commercial, retail, or hospitality projects is highly desirable.

Knowledge of UAE building regulations and local construction practices is an advantage.

A valid UAE driving license is preferred.

Full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi / Dubai, UAE.
