Qualifications

  • You'll have...
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction or Engineering
  • 5+ years of related experience in construction
  • Strong technical expertise in multiple engineering disciplines including civil, architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written.
  • Ability to manage external relationships with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and service providers.
  • Knowledge of planning, estimating, scheduling and construction processes.
  • Strong program/project management expertise, including the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to travel as necessary

  • This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $99,100-$166,200.
  • Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

Responsibilities

  • What you'll do...
  • Work with Purchasing to procure appropriate consultants, contractors and sub-contractors to complete facility actions.
  • Develop and maintain project construction schedules as appropriate to deliver facility actions on time.
  • Develop appropriate recovery plans for timing and cost issues as they arise during facility actions.
  • Work with the Finance Team(s) to develop and implement appropriate financial tracking documents and manage projects to achieve budgeted costs.
  • Work with the Ford Land Planning/Estimating and Ford Land Engineering Teams to determine appropriate facility actions and implement according to approved plans.
