Project Engineer responsible for leading PEB and structural steel projects and associated civil works.
The work covers project delivery, site supervision, cost, quality, safety, risks, and team coordination.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion within scope, budget, and schedule.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers; review structural drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Supervise steel erection, civil foundations, cladding, finishing, and related site activities.
- Monitor costs, progress, quality, and safety; report progress to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and mitigation actions, and ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and GCC regulations.
- Mentor project engineers and site teams.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- 6–8 years of GCC experience in PEB construction, steel structures, and associated civil works.
- Strong technical knowledge of steel fabrication and erection, civil foundations, and finishing works.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, planning tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project, and budgeting.
- Familiarity with international codes and GCC building standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
