The Project Engineer / Civil Engineer supports industrial and civil projects through engineering design, site coordination, and compliance with technical and safety standards.
This is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with work at client or company locations and some work from home.
Responsibilities
- Develop engineering designs and coordinate site activities.
- Prepare and review civil engineering plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Support site development and stormwater management solutions.
- Prepare project documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and monitor project progress.
- Perform quality checks and propose improvements to performance and cost.
Qualifications
- Strong Civil Engineering foundation and experience in industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in civil engineering design and site development, including plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of stormwater management, drainage systems, and related regulatory and environmental requirements.
- Quality control experience, including inspections, construction-work verification, and safety and compliance standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
- Ability to use engineering design and CAD software, interpret technical documents, and prepare clear reports.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks part-time.
- Effective English communication, multicultural teamwork, and ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
- Professional registration or eligibility is an advantage.
- Industrial project or Middle East infrastructure experience is a plus.
