Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Project Engineer located in Ajman.
The Project Engineer will oversee and manage steel fabrication and construction projects from the planning stage through to execution.
Responsibilities
include developing project plans, supervising technical teams, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, preparing cost estimates, managing timelines, addressing project challenges, and liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in project management, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Strong technical knowledge in steel fabrication, structural design, and construction methodologies
- Experience with CAD software and ability to review technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate across teams and engage with clients
- Understanding of safety and quality standards applicable to fabrication and construction projects
- Problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering
- Professional certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or related field is a plus
- Prior experience in steel fabrication or construction within a similar industry is preferred
