Role Overview
Civil Project Engineer role based in Dubai, UAE.
Building construction project experience from excavation through handover is sought.
The role requires managing and controlling site activities while coordinating subcontractors and labor teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day construction site activities.
- Ensure execution follows approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
- Plan, coordinate, and control project activities to meet time, cost, and quality requirements.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site workforce.
- Monitor progress and prepare regular reports.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards on site.
- Resolve technical and site-related issues efficiently.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants and authorities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 5 years of Dubai building-construction experience.
- Proven Project Engineer or similar experience and ability to manage projects from execution to completion.
- Experience with subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams.
- Excellent spoken and written English; strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of UAE construction standards, regulations, and local authority requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software; AutoCAD is preferred.
Salary and Benefits
- AED 10,000–13,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
- Other benefits are provided as per UAE labor law.
