Job Summary

The Projects Director will be responsible for leading and managing multiple piling and foundation projects from project award through completion and handover.

The role involves strategic planning, project execution, resource management, financial control, client relationship management, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for multiple piling and foundation projects.
  • Develop project execution strategies, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Oversee all phases of piling works including mobilization, execution, testing, and project close-out.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual obligations, and client requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, productivity, cost performance, and profitability.
  • Lead project teams including Project Managers, Site Engineers, Construction Managers, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, and government authorities.
  • Review and approve project methodologies, work programs, and technical proposals.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays and cost overruns.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Oversee procurement planning and allocation of manpower, machinery, and materials.
  • Conduct regular project review meetings and provide management reports to senior leadership.
  • Support business development activities, tender reviews, and project feasibility assessments.
  • Resolve contractual, commercial, and operational issues affecting project delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and operational excellence.
  • Ensure successful project handover and completion documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum
  • 15 years of experience in the piling, geotechnical, or foundation engineering industry
  • , with at least
  • 8 years in a senior project management or leadership role
  • .
  • Proven experience managing multiple large-scale piling and foundation projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of piling methods including: Bored Piles, CFA Piles, Sheet Piles, Secant Piles, Diaphragm Walls, Micro Piles, Anchoring and Shoring Systems.
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering principles and foundation construction practices.
  • Experience with project planning tools such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent knowledge of contract administration, project controls, budgeting, and cost management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • UAE or GCC project experience is highly preferred.
  • Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
