Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects or a project portfolio from planning through handover.
• Define project strategies, objectives, and execution plans aligned with company goals.
• Manage client, consultant, and internal-team relationships; act as the main escalation point.
• Oversee budgets, cost control, forecasting, cash flow, contracts, variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Ensure landscape, civil, irrigation, and MEP disciplines meet specifications and standards.
• Oversee procurement strategies and timely sourcing of materials, subcontractors, and services.
• Monitor performance and report progress, risks, and financial status accurately.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project completion, documentation, commissioning, and handover.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project teams, ensuring performance and accountability.

Requirements and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, such as Civil, Agricultural, Landscape Architecture, Mechanical, or a related discipline, from an accredited university.
• Master's degree in Engineering Management, Construction Management, or an MBA.
• 15–20 years in construction, landscape, or infrastructure projects, including 3–5 years in senior leadership as Project Director or equivalent.
• Proven delivery of large-scale projects valued at SAR 200 million or more, or equivalent.
• GCC project experience is preferred.
• PMP certification is required; PRINCE2, PgMP, or similar additional certifications are a plus.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle, FIDIC/NEC contract management, and cost control.
• Experience with Primavera P6, ERP systems such as SAP, and Microsoft Office tools.
