We are looking for an experienced
Project Director
to lead the delivery of a prestigious private residential project in Dubai.
This senior leadership role requires someone with a strong track record in managing complex, high-value residential interiors and construction projects from pre-construction and design coordination through execution and final handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of project delivery, including programme, cost, quality and risk
- Lead coordination between clients, consultants, designers, contractors and suppliers
- Develop project plans, schedules and resource strategies
- Review drawings, specifications, material selections and technical submissions
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, variations, claims and commercial performance
- Ensure smooth coordination between design, procurement, MEP, site and project teams
- Lead and mentor project managers, engineers and site personnel
- Maintain the highest standards across finishes, workmanship and detailing
- Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, HSE standards and project procedures
- Provide clear reporting and proactive communication to senior stakeholders and private clients
Required Background
- 15+ years of project delivery experience
- Strong experience delivering premium residential or private property projects in the UAE
- Proven exposure to bespoke interiors, joinery, FF&E and specialist finishes
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination, smart-home systems and technical interfaces
- Experience managing complex projects for private or high-profile clients
- Strong commercial, contractual and cost-control capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is strongly preferred
Skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making ability
- Excellent client and stakeholder management
- Deep understanding of the UAE construction and interiors market
- High attention to detail and quality
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential projects
- Strong communication, planning and problem-solving skills
- Candidates must currently be based in the UAE or have extensive recent UAE project experience.
