Project Coordinator Engineer (UAE National)

Role overview

Technical coordination

• Coordinate architectural, structural, MEP, utility, and infrastructure teams; review drawings, models, and documents for clashes and discrepancies.
• Prepare and maintain coordination drawings, technical logs, reports, and project records.
• Attend coordination meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on outstanding actions.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical submissions against project requirements.
• Liaise with design engineers to resolve technical and design-related issues.

Site and project support

• Collect technical information, progress updates, and as-built data from site teams.
• Support the Resident Engineer in coordinating and supervising road and infrastructure construction works.
• Maintain daily diaries and ensure inspectors’ daily reports are accurate and complete.
• Coordinate schedules, manpower, equipment, and resource allocation with contractor engineers.
• Organize and chair coordination meetings with service authorities, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain project records and support safety objectives, approved safety procedures, and quality assurance and control activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of construction activities, infrastructure works, and engineering drawings.
• Good written and spoken English; strong organizational, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, authorities, and project teams.

Workplace

• Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE; duties include coordination with site teams and construction works.
