Role overview

Project controls and cost management

• Implement integrated project cost-control procedures and ensure processes meet department objectives.
• Review and update cost-control procedures and recommend improvements.
• Support project funding, cost monitoring, and control to help projects meet approved schedules, budgets, and objectives.
• Maintain cost-control reporting and communication requirements and work closely with project management teams.
• Collect Work Program and Budget project data for compilation by Project Assurance.
• Support investigation of contractual deviations and compilation of contract schedule and cost data for analysis.
• Establish performance analysis and benchmarking processes and provide cost-control guidance.
• Improve project-controls work methods and practices.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Six years of multidisciplinary oil and gas industry experience, emphasizing planning and cost control across project phases.
