The Project Controls Director is responsible for establishing, leading, and governing all project controls functions across the organization and/or major EPC projects.
This includes planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, progress measurement, and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements.

The Project Controls Director is responsible for establishing, leading, and governing all project controls functions across the organization and/or major EPC projects.
This includes planning, scheduling, cost control, risk management, progress measurement, and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
- **Corporate Level**
- Establish project controls policies, standards, and KPIs
- Standardize planning, cost control, and reporting systems
- Oversee budgets, forecasts, and portfolio performance
- Implement risk and change management frameworks
- Lead systems (Primavera P6, SAP, Power BI) and team capability development
- **Project Level**
- Approve schedules, baselines, and progress measurement
- Monitor cost, cash flow, and earned value (SPI/CPI)
- Manage risks, delays, and mitigation plans
- Oversee variation orders, claims, and EOT analysis
- Provide regular reports to management and clients
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or related field
- 15+ years’ experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects
- Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and cost control
- UAE/Middle East experience preferred
- PMP (preferred)
