Project Controls Data Analyst role with Parsons.
Integrates engineering, scope, budget, scheduling, procurement, construction, and start-up aspects of small projects or project subtasks.
Relocation to a project site may be required during construction and start-up activities.
Reporting and analytics
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Automate recurring project controls reports and performance metrics; produce executive-level status reports and standardized program and portfolio KPIs.
- Analyze progress trends, support earned value management reporting, and provide forecasting support.
- Transform complex datasets into actionable insights and identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement areas.
Automation and project coordination
- Develop automated data extraction, transformation, and reporting solutions, including with Python and SQL.
- Improve reporting efficiency and support digital transformation within Project Controls.
- Coordinate project technical disciplines, materials and equipment procurement, and construction planning assistance as needed.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in project controls, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related discipline.
- Experience developing Power BI dashboards and managing project performance reporting.
Preferred experience and tools
- Experience supporting large-scale construction, infrastructure, engineering, or capital projects is preferred.
- Listed tools and systems include Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SQL, and Python.
